How much does Worthberry cost?
It's free during the private beta. After launch there are four plans: Seedling is free (with ads), and Sprout, Ripe and Harvest are $14.99, $27.99 and $49.99 a month, with one month free when you pay yearly. Beta members hear first, and nobody is charged without agreeing to it. See pricing.
Why are there ads on the free plan, and what do advertisers see?
Ads pay for the free plan. They come from partners we work with directly, not from an ad network, and they're picked by the section of the app you're on, never by your balances or transactions. Advertisers see only how many times their ad was shown and clicked. They never see who you are or anything about your money. Paid plans have no ads.
Which banks work?
Anything Akahu connects to, which includes ANZ, ASB, BNZ, Westpac, Kiwibank, Co-op, TSB and more. If your bank isn't linkable, you can import a CSV statement or enter a balance.
Can it see my KiwiSaver?
Yes, if your provider is available through Akahu. Otherwise, enter your balance and contribution rates, and Worthberry works out your government contribution and a projection to 65.
Is it safe to link my bank?
You sign in to your bank through Akahu, so your password never reaches us, and Worthberry only reads: it can't move money. Your balances are for you, not us: our team's tools show your email and plan, never your money. You can disconnect at any time. More on our security page.
Do I need an Akahu account?
When you link a bank, Akahu asks you to create a quick login. Akahu holds your consent to share data, so you can see and withdraw it in one place.
Where is my data stored?
In Sydney, Australia, encrypted. We never sell it, and it’s never used to choose ads or shared with advertisers.
Is this financial advice?
No. Worthberry shows information about your money so you can understand it. It doesn't recommend what to do. For advice, talk to a licensed financial adviser.
Is there an app?
Worthberry works in any browser and adds to your phone's home screen like an app. App Store and Google Play versions come after the beta.
When do I get in?
We're inviting people in small groups so we can listen closely. Join the waitlist and we'll email you an invite.
How do I get help, and how fast will you reply?
Use Contact support (the speech bubble at the top of the app), or email hello@worthberry.co. You get a ticket ID straight away, and a real person from the Worthberry team gets back to you within 48 hours, usually sooner.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Deleting your account removes your data straight away and withdraws Worthberry's access to your banks. You can export it all first.
