Built for how money works in New Zealand

Budgets, spending, KiwiSaver, investments, goals and your whole net worth. Fortnightly pay, council RVs and fixed-rate home loans aren't afterthoughts here. They're the point.

Budgets

  • Set limits per category for each week, fortnight or month.
  • Fortnightly budgets reset on your payday, not on a random date.
  • Make your own categories just by typing a new name.

Spending

  • Link ANZ, ASB, BNZ, Westpac, Kiwibank, Co-op, TSB and more through Akahu.
  • Or import a CSV statement from any NZ bank. Importing the same file twice won't double up.
  • Transactions sort themselves into categories, recognising places like Woolworths, Pak'nSave, Z and Mercury.
  • Change a category once and Worthberry can remember it for next time.
  • See where it all goes: by category, by place and month by month.

KiwiSaver

  • See your balance from your provider, or enter it yourself.
  • Track the government contribution: 25 cents for every dollar you put in, up to $260.72 a year to 30 June.
  • See your employer's contribution after tax, and what changes if you contribute more.
  • A projection to 65, shown next to NZ Super.
  • KiwiSaver tracking is on Sprout and up. Forecasts to 65 are on Ripe and Harvest.

Investments

  • Balances from platforms Akahu connects to, or holdings you add yourself.
  • Gain or loss on each holding, and how your money is spread.
  • A heads-up as your overseas shares approach the $50,000 FIF threshold.
The Investments page: portfolio value, gain or loss, and each holding with its return

Goals

  • Set a target for a house deposit, a trip, a car or a rainy-day fund.
  • Choose which accounts count towards it, and see the date you're on track to get there.
  • Seedling includes 1 goal, Sprout 3, and Ripe and Harvest as many as you like.
Goals for a trip to Japan, an emergency fund, a first-home deposit and a car, with the date each will be reached

Your home

  • Record a value from homes.co.nz, OneRoof, a valuation or your council RV.
  • Add your home loan, split by split, to see your equity and loan-to-value ratio.
  • A reminder 120 days before your fixed rate ends, so you have time to shop around.
The Property page: home value, home loan, equity and a reminder that the fixed rate is ending

Crypto

  • Paste a public wallet address for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and more. Balances are read straight from the blockchain.
  • Prices in NZ dollars, updated through the day.
  • Exchange balances, like Easy Crypto or Kraken, can be entered by hand.
The Crypto page: total crypto value, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana holdings in NZ dollars

A dashboard you design

  • Pick from twelve kinds of chart, from spending flows to a month-by-month view of where your money goes.
  • Choose the time range, from one week to all time, and which parts of your wealth to include.
  • Rearrange and resize it until it shows what you check most.

On your phone

  • Worthberry works in any browser and adds to your home screen like an app.
  • App Store and Google Play versions come after the beta.

Net worth

  • Everything you own minus everything you owe, as one number that updates on its own.
  • See how it's changed over a week, a year or all time, and what moved it.
  • Includes your home, KiwiSaver, investments, crypto, savings and every loan.
