Worthberry News
Every change we make to Worthberry, newest first. Each update is labelled as a New Feature or an Improvement.
October 2026
-
New Feature
Worthberry for everywhere
Worthberry now has a home for every country at worthberry.co. It's live here in New Zealand, and friends overseas can join the waitlist for their country.
-
New Feature
Select many transactions
On Transactions, tap Select to tick as many transactions as you like, or all that match your filters, then give them a new category or delete them in one go.
-
Improvement
You confirm your bills
Worthberry no longer assumes a regular payment is a bill. In Budgets → Bills & upcoming, it asks "Are these bills?" and only counts the ones you say yes to. You can also answer from a transaction.
-
Improvement
Categories keep their colours
Charts now show each category in its own colour, the same one you see on its chip and on the Categories page. Subcategories take a shade of their main category's colour. On the Analytics dashboard, the donut's legend lists subcategories indented under their main category.
-
New Feature
Analytics dashboard
On Harvest, the Analytics dashboard sits beside your own. Search, pick account groups, accounts, categories or how transfers count, and every visual on it changes straight away. Pick a category to see its subcategories, insights follow what you pick, the donut shows subcategories and the bar chart switches between total and by category.
-
Improvement
Investments by provider
The side panel now lists your investments by provider, like Sharesies, Hatch or Kernel, with each one's total, instead of a single count of holdings.
-
Improvement
More history from your bank
Accounts linked through Akahu now bring in all the past transactions your bank shares, up to two years, instead of the last 90 days. If you've already linked, your next sync fills in the rest. Transactions you delete stay deleted too.
-
Improvement
Five new cash flow figures
Your cash flow summary can now show On track to spend, No-spend days, Weekend vs weekday, Biggest merchant and Investments change. Visual settings also fold away now, so the edit window is easier to scan.
-
Improvement
Cash flow figures stay on one line
Your cash flow summary now keeps every figure in a single tidy row. Picked more than fit? Swipe sideways, or click and hold to drag along with your mouse.
-
New Feature
Choose whether visuals count transfers
Edit a visual and choose how it treats money moved between your own accounts: Including counts every transfer, Excluding leaves them all out, and Automatic only counts transfers with accounts you haven't picked.
-
Improvement
Transfers count when you filter by account
When a visual is filtered to some of your accounts, money moved to or from your other accounts now counts as money out or money in, so the figures match what really left or arrived. Transfers between the accounts you picked still stay out.
-
New Feature
See the transactions behind a chart
Hover over a slice or bar on your dashboard and click to see the transactions that make it up. It works on donut, bar, grouped bar, Pareto and Sankey charts.
-
Improvement
Filter every visual by account
Insights, goals, budgets, debts, Coming up and net worth visuals can now be filtered to some of your accounts or account groups, just like the spending charts. Edit a visual and pick the accounts or groups you want.
-
Improvement
Pick account groups for any visual
When you edit a visual, your account groups now sit above your accounts: tap one to pick every account in it at once, and tap it again to take them off.
-
Improvement
Account groups in your visuals
Donut and bar charts of your bank accounts can now show your account groups added up instead of each account: edit the visual and choose By group. The Money calendar also shades busier spending days in Worthberry blueberry.
-
New Feature
Debt payoff dashboard
On Harvest, choose New dashboard and pick Debt payoff to see what you owe, what you've repaid and when you could be debt-free. Tap any debt on the Debts page to see the repayments linked to it, or to edit it. Only repayments you link to a debt bring it down.
-
New Feature
Debts that pay down as you pay
Debts you add yourself now start from what you owed and come down with each repayment you link to them, with interest worked out at the loan’s rate. On any bill, tick This pays off a debt and choose which one, or let Worthberry spot repayments by the lender’s name and the usual amount. A bar on the Debts page shows how much is paid off and how much is left.
-
Improvement
Other is now Uncategorised
Transactions Worthberry couldn’t sort now show as Uncategorised, so they’re easy to tell apart from the Other slice in charts, which groups your smaller categories. Transactions also has the same date buttons as your dashboard, from 1W to Custom.
-
New Feature
Advanced filters for your transactions
Tap Filters on Transactions to narrow things down by dates, money in or out, transfers, amount, and as many accounts and categories as you like. Each filter shows as a chip you can remove with one tap.
-
New Feature
Pick your own dates
Choose Custom beside the date ranges on your dashboard, then tap a quick pick like Last month or This financial year, or tap the first and last days on the calendar. Transactions has the same date picker in its filters.
-
Improvement
Dollars and percentages together
Changes now show both, like +$5,117 (+0.8%), on your dashboard, side panel and accounts, so there’s no switch to flip. Hide your balances and you’ll see just the percentages.
-
Improvement
Check a statement before you import it
When a statement has no balance column, enter its opening balance or today’s balance and Worthberry shows the balance after every transaction, so you can check everything was read correctly against your statement. Don’t have either? Choose Neither and import anyway.
-
Improvement
Smarter transfer matching
Transfers between your accounts now pair with the account your bank names in the description, so money moved to your Emergency Fund is matched with your Emergency Fund. Deleting a transaction or an account no longer leaves its other half stuck, and wrong pairs fix themselves.
-
Improvement
A fresh blueberry look
Worthberry’s background is now pale blueberry, to match our brand. Green is kept for what it means: money coming in and things going well.
-
Improvement
Small crypto amounts, exactly
When you add crypto by hand, the amount now takes as many decimal places as you need, like 0.00012345 BTC, and your crypto page shows them down to the satoshi.
-
Improvement
Tighter lists everywhere
Lists across Worthberry are now compact: rows sit closer together, and transactions fit on one line, so you see more without scrolling. Your rules in Categories & rules now come a page at a time, with a search to find one quickly.
-
Improvement
Clearer money flows
On the Sankey diagram, green now only means money coming in and what you kept, so spending categories show in other colours. The Latest transactions visual also leaves out transfers between your own accounts.
-
Improvement
Move your categories around
Each of your own categories can be a main category, or sit under a built-in one like Groceries. Change where it goes any time in Categories & rules, and when you type a new category on a transaction you can save it straight under the one it’s in.
-
New Feature
Budgets that start when you choose
Pick the day your budgets reset, like your payday, with Change start date on the Budgets page. Weekly, fortnightly and monthly budgets all line up with it.
-
New Feature
Count your KiwiSaver towards a house deposit
House deposit goals can now include your KiwiSaver first-home withdrawal: everything except the $1,000 that has to stay in, plus what goes in each month. Edit your goal and choose your KiwiSaver fund.
-
Improvement
Net worth history from your past transactions
Your net worth chart now reaches back through the bank transactions you’ve imported or synced, so you can see how things have moved from day one, not just since you joined.
-
Improvement
Several bills from the same company
Pay a company for more than one thing, like a phone plan and broadband? Worthberry now finds each one as its own bill, and you can add more than one bill for the same company.
-
Improvement
Money in is green
Money coming in now shows in green on the Sankey diagram and on the money in charts. The collapsed side panel also shows your net worth without decimals.
-
New Feature
See what’s inside each part of your wealth
Donut and bar chart visuals can now show each of your bank accounts, investments, crypto coins, properties, KiwiSaver funds or debts, biggest first. Choose Customise on your dashboard, then pick one under Show.
-
Improvement
Goals count the accounts you link
A goal linked to your accounts now counts what’s in them, and keeps up as their balances change. If you linked accounts to a goal before today, edit the goal and choose them again.
-
Improvement
Accounts in more than one group, and statements without a balance
An account can now sit in several groups at once, like your joint account in both “Day to day” and “Bills”. If a bank statement has no balance column, importing it now asks what the account holds today, so it starts from the right amount instead of $0.
-
New Feature
Your own account groups, and transfers that count as saving
Group bank and savings accounts however suits you, like “Day to day” or “Rainy day”, from Group accounts on the Accounts page. Transfers can now say what they were for: money moved into a savings account counts as saving, shows in the new “Saved & invested” figure, and stays out of spending.
-
Improvement
Spot your bills at a glance
Payments to your bills now have a small repeat symbol in Transactions and say how often they come round, like “Monthly bill”.
-
New Feature
Subcategories, and transfers that match themselves
Add subcategories, like Coffee under Eating out, in Categories & rules: they roll up into their main category in charts and budgets, and you can budget for either. Money moved between your own accounts is now matched automatically, both sides are marked as a transfer with a swap symbol, and they're left out of spending and income.
-
Improvement
Smarter duplicate checks on imports
When you import a CSV statement, Worthberry now shows which transactions are already in the account before you import, and skips them. That includes ones synced from your bank or typed in, not just earlier imports.
-
New Feature
A welcome tour, and rounder numbers
New to Worthberry? A short welcome tour shows what it does and how your data is looked after when you first sign in. You can see it again any time in Settings. Your net worth in the side panel is now shown to the nearest dollar.
-
New Feature
Multi-asset crypto wallets, and XRP
When you add a wallet, choose single-asset or multi-asset. A multi-asset wallet, like Trust Wallet or Exodus, holds an address for each coin and shows them all together. XRP addresses are now read from the XRP Ledger, and a brand-new account shows changes since you started rather than a 0% over months.
-
New Feature
Crypto over any range, with logos
The Crypto page now follows your dashboard's range: see how your crypto total and each coin moved over a week, a month, 3 or 6 months or a year. Coins show their logos, you can change a wallet's address, network or name after adding it, and there are more coins to choose from, including BNB, TRON, Toncoin, Stellar, Bitcoin Cash, Hedera, Sui, Polygon, NEAR and Cosmos.
-
Improvement
More reliable crypto wallets
Adding a wallet address now tells you what it found, finds 0x addresses on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum or Polygon, and explains if an address can't be read. Prices have a backup source, and each coin keeps its last price, so a wallet never drops to $0 when a price feed is busy.
-
Improvement
Net worth changes that always agree
How much your net worth moved now comes out the same in the side panel and on the net worth card, for every range. The card always shows your whole net worth, even when the dashboard's View leaves some types out.
-
New Feature
Home loans, split your way
Add a home loan from Add a debt, with each split on its own rate and fixed term, and assign it to a property now or later. Tap any home loan on the Debts or Property page to edit it. Deleting a property now asks whether to delete its home loans too, or keep them.
-
Improvement
Home values follow your city
Your property's yearly value adjustment now follows house prices in your city or district, including each part of Auckland, instead of the whole region. Pick the city when you add or edit a property.
-
Improvement
Replies within 48 hours
When you contact support, a real person from the Worthberry team gets back to you within 48 hours, usually sooner. See the FAQ for how to reach us.
-
Improvement
Free plan remembers your categories
On every plan, when you choose a category for a payment, Worthberry can remember it for that merchant so future transactions sort themselves. KiwiSaver forecasts to 65 are now part of Ripe and Harvest; Sprout keeps KiwiSaver tracking and sync.
-
New Feature
Bills and upcoming payments
Budgets now has a Bills & upcoming view. Worthberry finds bills you pay regularly from transactions categorised Bills & utilities, shows what's due in the next week and month, and you can add your own, like rent or insurance. Open any payment in Transactions and choose Make this a bill to add it in one tap.
-
Improvement
Rules by merchant, and an eye to hide balances
Category rules can now match a merchant as well as words in the description. Tap the eye next to your net worth to hide balances, and the dashboard's $ / % switch now changes gains and losses without hiding anything.
-
Improvement
A bolder net worth on your dashboard
Your dashboard now opens with a dark net worth card: the figure in big type, how it moved, a trend line and the four biggest parts. Prefer the full chart? Choose Edit visual, then Style → Chart.
-
New Feature
Hide your balances
Double-tap your net worth, or use the new $ / % switch on your dashboard, to hide dollar amounts and see how things moved as percentages instead. Handy when someone's looking over your shoulder. Assets has also moved next to Accounts in the menu.
-
New Feature
A net worth card for your dashboard
Your net worth visual now comes in two styles. Choose Edit visual, then Style → Card for your net worth in big type, how it moved, a small trend line and the four biggest parts of it.
-
Improvement
Strawberry Finance is now Worthberry
Same app, same berry good money tracking, with a new name and a blueberry for a logo. You're still signed in and your data hasn't changed. Our new address is worthberry.co.
-
Improvement
Categories & rules have their own page
Find Categories in the menu to see every category on your plan, add your own, and set rules that sort new transactions for you. It's also linked from Transactions.
-
Improvement
A clearer upgrade prompt
When you try something your plan doesn't include, like a sixth budget or KiwiSaver on the free plan, Worthberry now shows what the next plan adds and what it costs. The free plan is for tracking by hand and CSV imports; KiwiSaver, bank sync, wallet sync and exchange connections are on Sprout and up.
-
Improvement
What each plan includes
Seedling includes 1 custom dashboard, 5 budgets, 1 goal and 9 core categories. Sprout adds all 17 categories, the prebuilt Spending and Net worth dashboards, 8 budgets and 3 goals. Ripe adds 3 custom dashboards, 5 categories of your own and unlimited budgets and goals, and Harvest has no limits. Spending in categories your plan doesn't include shows as Other, and comes back as it was when you upgrade. See Pricing.
-
Improvement
Home loans follow your property
Switch off Property in Settings → What you track, or untick it in your dashboard's View, and your home loan now leaves the dashboard along with the house, so your net worth, debts and charts all add up.
-
New Feature
Choose what you track
Not into crypto, or no loans to keep an eye on? Head to Settings → What you track and switch off the account types you don't need. Your net worth adds up the ones you keep.

-
Improvement

Remove our access to your bank and we stop syncing straight away, then delete that connection’s data after 30 days. Deleting your account removes our access to your bank immediately. How bank syncing works
