Use Worthberry with Claude
Connect Worthberry to Claude and ask about your own money in plain English. Read-only, your choice, and you can disconnect any time.
Connect Worthberry to Claude and you can ask about your own money in plain English: what you spent, where your net worth is heading, how your budgets are going. Claude looks up the answer in your Worthberry. It can read your figures, but it can't change a thing.
Worthberry tracks your money. It doesn't give financial advice. Claude can help you read your figures, but it can get things wrong. Check anything important on the platform before you act on it.
Which plans have it
It's on the Ripe and Harvest plans. During the private beta, every member has it, free.
Set it up
You'll need a Claude account that can add custom connectors. Claude's own help pages cover which accounts can.
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Worthberry and paste this address:
https://mcp.worthberry.co/mcp - Press Connect. You'll come to Worthberry's sign-in page. Log in as you normally do, with your two-step code if you use one.
- Read the consent screen. It says exactly what Claude can and can't see. If you're happy, press Allow read-only access.
- You'll go back to Claude, connected. Turn on Worthberry for a chat, then ask away.
What Claude can look up
- Your net worth: today's total, what it's made of, and how it has moved over time.
- Your accounts: balances for your accounts, crypto, investments, retirement savings, property and debts.
- Your transactions: search by date, account, category or words in the description.
- Your spending: how much went to each category over a period.
- Your categories: the list your transactions are sorted into.
- Your budgets: how much is spent and left this period.
- Your goals: how far along each one is.
Claude only sees what's in your Worthberry: the statements you've imported, your synced crypto and what you've added yourself. If a statement is a few weeks old, so are those figures.
Things to ask
- What's my net worth, and how has it changed this year?
- What did I spend the most on last month?
- How much have I spent on takeaways in the last three months?
- Find my biggest transactions in October.
- Which of my budgets are closest to running out?
- How far along am I with my holiday goal?
Disconnect any time
In Worthberry, open Settings, then Security and sign-in. Under Connected apps, press Revoke next to Claude. Access stops straight away. You can also remove the connector in Claude's settings, and changing your Worthberry password ends every connection.
How it keeps your money safe
- Read-only: Claude can't change, add or delete anything, and nothing can move money.
- Yours only: a connection can only ever read your own Worthberry. Claude never gets your password, two-step codes or wallet addresses.
- Your choice: it's off until you connect it. Your data goes to Claude's provider only while you're connected and only when you ask something, and that provider's own terms cover how it handles your data.
- Nothing to sell: Worthberry doesn't sell your data. We keep a record of which tool was used and when, never your questions or the answers.
